Quest Salted Caramel Protein
...is my new favorite!!!! It is so delicious!
On another note, last night was my 4th support group meeting. After talking about my journey so far, other members approached me to ask me questions about how I'm doing, what I'm doing to have lost 20 pounds since January 11, etc. It was a great feeling to help others.
The nurse navigator was the leader. Since my insurance company does not have a stipulation as to how long I have to wait for the surgery, she is getting me in to start the paperwork to get a surgery date set.
Very exciting! Things are moving fast.
Happy Tuesday!

I liked a lot of protein shakes before surgery, but after, I didn't like any of the pre-mixed ones. The only thing I use now is unflavored protein, either Genepro or Syntrax Nectar, to supplement in foods and I like Quest Salted Caramel in my coffee. I just brew my one 10 oz cup of coffee and mix in a scoop (or packet) and it becomes my creamy, yummy treat for making it to work that day (not to mention the 22g of protein!). lol!
Glad things are moving along quickly for you. My insurance required a 6 month wait with doctor monitored weight loss. That last month took forever! Hang in there and it will be here before you know it!
Syntrax Nectars are great powders. Very high quality. Genepro is a scam. You aren't getting nearly as much protein as they claim. And if they are lying about that, I would doubt their quality as well.
