Whatcha eating today? Saturday, 2/18/2017
Yay, it's the weekend! Once I survive this morning, I should be able to enjoy the rest of the weekend a bit :) This morning I'm meeting with my first local literacy council student - a young person who wants to improve their score on the ASVAB, particularly the math sections. I'm super nervous and hope that I can do this person justice. Then I'm meeting with my local congresscritter for a Q&A about ACA. Then I get to be home, yay! And I'm seeing Lego Batman this evening! Yay!
1: protein shake
2: leftover slow cooker stroganoff
3: tamales and fried eggs (this means steaming some frozen tamales, cutting them up into small cubes, and frying them up like hash browns, then topping that with fried eggs. For me it means about 2oz of tamale and about 2oz oz of eggs.)
liquid and vites: on track
exercise: yoga once I'm home
How about how? Looking forward to a good Saturday where you are?

You re amazing, Gwen. You do so much good. My very best wishes for you!
Well, it is day 7 on my new "Back on Track" effort. One week down, three more before Spain. I'm hoping to be strict on plan and get my weight back to goal before I go. I need to lose 3 to 5 pounds in three weeks. I should be able to do this.
Breakfast - salmon
lunch - chicken and broccoli
dinner - orange chicken over spinach
snack - Dijon lime chicken
I hope you are all having a good Saturday. It is chilly but sunny in Boston. I'm off to see a documentary with my spiritual discussion group today. It will be nice to be out and about.
best wishes,
Carol

Meal #1: cinnamon and ghee coffee (savory - delicious!)
Meal #2: some pulled pork with a smidge of broccoli rabe.
Meal #3: curried tilapia (this is my fancy way of saying I just sprinkled curry powder on it!)
Other: protein shake, depending on if I hit 70g via food or not.
I follow a ketogenic diet post-op. I also have a diagnosis of binge eating disorder. Feel free to ask me about either!

Gotta work nights this weekend so nothing planned.

B Isopure zero vanilla shake with tbsp of pb fit and sprinkle of cinnamon

D We are grilling a big batch of pork chops and chicken thighs that I have marinating, so we will have leftovers for days. I will eat a chicken thigh as pork chop still doesn't sit well in my sleeve.
If I feel a snack is necessary I will have some Greek yogurt or slice of deli ham with pepperjack cheese.
Vitamins done and water on track.
