Whatcha eating today? Tuesday, 2/14/2017
My knee seems to be feeling better today! If that changes before the end of business, I'll call my orthopedist to schedule an appointment. I sort of feel like I should schedule one anyway, but I'm wrestling with myself over it because I do NOT want to spend the time on it.
Today should be a nice day. My morning meeting was cancelled, so I don't have to leave the house until 10:30, which gives me extra time to study for my first big anatomy exam that's tomorrow! After class I'm meeting with my senator's representative to give her a tour of the college campus and then I've got mental therapy. I think the topic for today will be missing my dad and how bereavement group is going. I think I need to grocery shop on the way home from that and then it's more study time for the exam. Woo! I definitely haven't had enough time to study this term and I'm not thrilled about that at all.
1: protein shake
2: tuna and guacamole since that worked well yesterday!
3: leftover pork probably
liquid and vites: on track
exercise: yoga
How about you? Any great plans for the day?

Happy Love day!
I cant remember things lately, so I don't know if I mentioned this, but I think I am developing a bone spur in both my heels. My left one is most annoying. I have worn my sneakers the past few days, which has helped. I will change my shoes tonight before dinner. BF is taking me to our favorite Mexican Restaurant for dinner. What will I order?! I also move 2 weeks from tomorrow. Time is flying, days are buzzing by, but thankfully I got a lot of my packing done on Sunday when I was stuck home in the ice storm. One day at a time!
B 1/2 shake in coffee, 1/4 c cottage cheese w/ 3 strawberries and 1/2 banana
no snack!
L 1/2 can of tuna, on top of lettuce w/ coleslaw
D NO IDEA what to order from the Mexican Place! What would you order?! http://www.beabandido.com/
No snack! Trying not to snack today since who knows what dinner will be like. They give you comp nachos, a few nachos on a plate w/ refried beans and melted cheese. For dessert they give this free fried thing that's stuffed with some mushy banana thing, with whipped cream and a caramel sauce. (to die for)
Liquids on track (aiming to not get a strawberry margarita today)
Just another day here. My Valentines are Furry and Four legged. The best Valentine I would love to receive today is no pee-pee on the rug in my living room...
NSV- I did not get on the scale this morning. My trainer and I talked about this last week. When I started back in October, I got in the habit of getting on the scale daily as changes were happening so quickly. Now they have slowed significantly, and the scale has become more of a source of emotional frustration than elation. So I weighed in yesterday at 200. And vow not to do it again until either Thursday or Friday (I haven't decided yet). The slowed scale hasn't changed my diet. But my diet may be able to change should I pay less attention to the scale.

Hubby and I went out last night and kind of celebrated valentines day when midnight hit. Neither of us are big on hallmark holidays, so I don't think we will do much to celebrate today.
I'm working from home today which is nice. I got to sleep in. I only have a couple of things that I need to finish up. I don't feel guilty at all about taking today easy b/c I'm headed out to California tomorrow for work and will have to do work things into the night and on Saturday. So today once things get wrapped up I'm hitting the early crossfit class and thinking about the footspa.
I'm not sure what I'll do tonight -- either color / puzzle / chill or I might go play some poker. But overall it will be a nice day.
Food ... prob something like this:
B - fit frappe
S - protein shake
L - wings & brussel sprouts
S - latte
D - wings & brussel sprouts (unless I end up playing poker)
S - cottage cheese & berries
E - crossfit & olympic lifting
Happy valentines day,

dinner - cold chicken salad over spiralized cucumber with spicy peanut sauce - yum.
snack - Dijon lime chicken
3rd day on the straight and narrow.. I'm off to a good start...

Feeling a bit sluggish after a weekend of carb overload. It is amazing how badly the breads and junk make me feel...yuck. I never want to go back to a life of total reckless eating and unaccountability. It is too easy to slide back into old habits.
