Whatcha eating today? Saturday, 2/11/2017
Good morning all! I've got a busy day ahead - I'm hosting a tamalada with friends (three families, ten people total!) so people are coming over around 1pm for that. We'll be making a TON of tamales, since they're easier to make a billion of all at once and freeze. It'll be super fun :D But before that I have to run over to college because my club is hosting a letter writing event that was sort of sprung on me at the last minute, so I want to at least make an appearance because I'm the treasurer.
1: protein shake
2: don't know if I'll be having lunch? If yes, leftover mexican casserole
3: tamales, obviously :)
liquid and vites: on track
exercise: yoga
How about you? Any grand Saturday plans?

'Hi All,
Its a "Back-on-track" day for me. Yesterday was not good, but I am having a serious talk with myself about not using food to self-medicate when I get emotionally stirred up. Hopefully, I can get back on track before I gain weight.
Breakfast - salmon
lunch - crack slaw
dinner - cheeseburger pie
snack - taco casserole made with spaghetti squash - yummy.
I hope you are all well and warm. Its been cold and snowy in New England with more coming tomorrow. I can't wait to be in Spain - 27 days until travel day! Guess who's counting!

Ordered pan pizzas and wings for the tribe last night.
For breakfast this morning I've had some of the wings and my coffee.
I'm soon gonna go out and grab some stuff to cook for a Sunday family meal tomorrow. I'm thinking I'll grab a salad kit for myself for dinner tonight and add a hard boiled egg and some grilled chicken breast to it.....depending on which salad kit I grab. I have a low calorie ginger-soy dressing that I'm using lately and the flavor is super.
That should hold me today.
Still in planning stages on the Sunday meal. My son has already requested a couple of side dishes that I know I'll be avoiding like the plague, lol.
Live, love and make the most out of what your surgeon has done for you...........live your life without excuses and without regrets.
Hi Everyone,
I'm new to this site and I really don't know where to start/post.
I'm currently considering gastric sleeve self pay due to struggling for a decade to release the unwanted fat. I'm vegan and I love it (being vegan has helped me due to my dairy allergy). I've been a "yo yo dieter" for over 10 years my weight goes up and down constantly.
I want to finally get a grip on things for good (weight loss tool). I do excerise and eat healthy yet for some reason that seems to not be enough for my body type. I'm concerned that I could reach my former weight and I told my self that I would never want to be or allow myself to ever get that big again (over 280 almost 300).
So what I need help with is the whole stigma of Bartric Surgery people always assume "it's the easy way out" or that people who get it are lazy and somehow "cheated".
I also want to know about the potential pros and cons of being self pay as well as opinions concerning should I continue to strive towards my "natural weight loss journey" or if it's time for me to try something else (I'm currently 100lbs over weight).
Thanks
It's a gorgeous day here in mid-Missouri today! Got to 77F today, but we go back into the low 50s/high 40s again next week. A little taste of Spring here in February! No walking or cardio or recumbent bike for a couple more days. Bad knee is hurting something fierce--see orthopod on Monday for a lovely cortisone shot, then will be able to do all that again!
