Anyone 8 years or more out? I have a question
hi,
I'm sorry to hear you are having trouble with your tummy. I'm only 3 years post op, so I've no experience here, but hopefully others will reply
best wishes
Carol

Last Wednesday night I woke up with massive tummy pain. It literally felt like someone was blowing up my little tummy like a balloon. I hurt so bad I could not even move. I tried to do a 5 day pouch reset to get it back to normal and I can't hardly eat anything. I can't even finish a 5 oz tub of yogurt. Please it hurts to eat anything cold or that is the slightest bit heavy. The only thing I can eat or drink has to be hot or warm.
I used to shut the skinny girl up in me with chocolate, Now I shut the fat girl up with my VSG!!!
I am 5 years out. Last year I got to a point where I couldn't keep solid food down and gallbladder attacks. Ended up I needed both the gallbladder out and a very large hiatel hernia repaired (same surgery). Doing better since then, but the digestive system is easily irritated by fats and other foods.
