Whatcha eating today? Sunday, 1/29/2017
So my day got a bit more hectic. My immigrant partner decided that he wanted to go protest the immigration ban in DC today, and, of course, I'll be going with him. Then it'll be rush home to make it to the cookbook club dinner. So this morning, before I leave for DC, I've got to get the recipes together so they'll be ready to go when I get home. In theory, I should find some time for some homework today too.... but some things are more important than others.

3: cookbook club deliciousness!

exercise: will do some yoga in the morning to get my hips/back a bit happier... and the protest.

Lets see I am only 4 days post op so my food choice for the day are
Protein Shakes, Jell-O, popsicle and lot and lost of water. I might try adding a few different thing to my protein shakes that where suggested to my nutritionist for a different flavor.
exercise: Plan one taking my kids and dog out for a walk later this morning, then a little of the band exercise and more walking.

I'm at work 12 hours, so doing my best without stress eating.
Meal #1: 30g protein shake
Meal #2: 4oz Siggi yogurt
Meal #3: LC sandwich (maybe we'll see)
Meal #4: 6oz chili beefs.
I follow a ketogenic diet post-op. I also have a diagnosis of binge eating disorder. Feel free to ask me about either!

This morning I'm trying a new porridge recipe with hemp hearts.
2nd meal is three slices of Canadian Bacon with a slice of cheese.
3rd meal chicken poblano soup
4th meal crock pot "pizza" which is ground beef, cheese, toppings
5th and/or 6th meal protein shake depending on how much more protein I need to reach 100+.
my pouch volume is still only 1/4-1/3 cup at a time so I need 6 small meals a day to reach protein goals.
exercise with treadmill till I reach my daily step goal then rowing machine I hope. I was just cleared for rowing machine. I'm pretty excited to use it again.
And, of course, water at every other waking moment.

Back in serious track today. Yesterday I tracked, all protein bars and yogurt,etc. 1600 calories, but in the right food groups.
Finally got a scale at my parents house for the weekends.

I'm having a good diet day - after the party last night - not so good. But as long as I get back on track, its not too bad.
Breakfast - salmon
Lunch - chili
Dinner - buffalo chicken spaghetti squash
snack - almonds if needed. I'm going to try to skip it.

Up a few pounds again. Need to get my **** together. Too much stress eating I guess, so back to tracking and Keto diet.
B: 2 Egg Omelette with cheese and spinach
L: Light and Fit Greek Yogurt with 1 Oz of Cashiews
Snack: Baby Carrots w/hummus
D: 4 oz of sirloin w/green beans
Along with a couple cups of coffee with heavy cream and lots of water, I ended up around 1,000 calories which is what I try to do when in weight loss mode.
On another note, I kicked butt on the Stair Climber today! 110 floors of stairs in under 25 minutes! Whew! With as much of that as I've been doing lately, I sometimes wonder how much of the 3 pound gain is actually muscle?

Let's see, I had 2 McDonald's breakfast burritos. A Blazin burger with fries. We went to the Old Spaghetti Factory for dinner.
Now that I have hit you with the shock and awe, let me explain. I gutted the two breakfast burritos and ate just the eggs and sausage out of them. The Blazin Burger was just the patty, jalapenos, tomato and pepper jack. The burger came with fries, I couldn't get it by itself. The fries ended up in the trash can. I had three meatballs with cheese at the Old Spaghetti Factory.
I was out on the road all day. I missed my 4 o'clock snack. I had to make decent choices based upon where I was at. Turned out pretty decent all and all.
