Got a Surgery date and I'm wondering about books
I got insurance approval for surgery today and was scheduled for February 20th! I'm excited! My question though if there are any weight loss surgery-related books that you guys would recommend? I'm mostly looking for recipes and cooking ideas for after but I'll take anything else.

Check out the low carb books by George Stella. He's a chef. Recipes are easy to follow and lots of variety. He's got a great weight loss story too. My fav one is 'Lo Carb and Lovin' It' but there are others. Good luck. Im one month post and feeling great.
Congratulations!!
Not a cookbook, but check out eggface's blog--she has some great recipes for each stage after surgery. As for book, try "The Emotional First + Aid Kit: A Practical Guide to Life After Bariatric Surgery"--I really took a lot from this one.
Congratulations! The time will fly by! I never felt the need to spring for a book - I used my nutritionist's handouts and the resources listed in many postings here. Eggface's blog, mentioned right above, is excellent. Pinterest, too. You'll do fine!
