Yes. I am one of those who uses my scale like it's a step class.
I got a digital WW scale from Costco when I started the VSG journey. It's the best scale I've ever had. I can get on and off it multiple times in a row, and it always reads the same thing - unlike my old analog scale.
I've been fat, and I've been thin - and thin is better.

It's weird but even where you stand on the scale (foot Placement) effects your weight. I only weight in the am, but if it's lower than usual I will weigh several times in a row to make sure it's right.

Yep. I do the same thing. I like seeing fluctuations and treads in my weight loss. And since there's no possible way gains are real since I'm only 3 weeks postop gains arent discouraging. I will not however, record a gain. I have two scales. One normal scale and a smart scale that syncs to my Garmin app. If the normal scale is bring nice, then I'll step on the Garmin and let it sync to My fitness pal.

lol @ helium pee. Well, I get on the scale before & after everything, with clothes, without clothes... Etc. several times a day if I'm at home. I have to say that I have never lost 4 lbs after going pee pee though hehe, but often get amazed at losing 3-4 lbs after a few hours sleep though.

This is an unhealthy pattern some of us go through once we reach goal, try to not obsess so much and if necessary have a loved one hide your scale. I had to have my husband hide my scale for about 4 months, I was making myself
How obsessed? I took off my jewelry, hair accessories and retainer I SWEAR!
