Just Landed
Good morning,
Tomorrow is the day... Today I will pack, clean, finish laundry, and most of all drink my water. I am nervous and reading all the last minute info I can to ensure I am ready. I think I've read tons but never can be too sure.
My go bag has:
slippers
pj pants for hall walks
gas x strips
heating pad
phone and charger
and then some odds n ends
day 1 of pre op day 14 felt so far away. Now it's here and I am not sure how I feel. Hungry is not one.. I already have to remind myself to eat so I will be using phone reminders post op.

Hi, I came home Friday evening so sore and tired I stayed in bed all the way through Saturday afternoon. I am now up and around but the gas pains still make me flinch. I only get nauseous when a gas bubble comes. My right side has the pull feeling that aches Doc said it's normal. I sleep on a heating pad so this helps and I have an adjustable bed that is getting full use.
Food wise Doc has me on clear liquids till Wednesday so I'm using Gatorade (missed the g2 but diluted it) with unflavored protein powder. Water and warm green tea. I'm craving chicken lol we eat a lot of grilled chicken and I'm being to miss it, the broth is gross. Hubby cooked a broil tonight so I did steal a little juice for a nice home made broth.
I am better than yesterday and am sure tomorrow will be even better. Can't wait for the next few days to pass

Day 4 Post Op
I have hit 20 pounds lost since I began seeing the Dr in September.
I was able to get up and out this morning and walk the dogs to the corner and back (one at a time so they didn't pull me) my right side is very tender so I am being good to it.
I am getting more fluids in with less pain. Even added multi vitamin to 20 ounces and got it all in.
I still hurt but it's less today so I am in higher spirits.
I have 2 more weeks of liquids to face and can not wait until I can re introduce little healthy items to my tummy. Spending my time using Pinterest for healthy, low carb purée foods.
