I don't know that fear is the biggest component so much as a lack of patient education. We see people eating all sorts of things they shouldn't, and it's often because their surgeon didn't tell them any better.

The original post had a link to an offsite blog. I didn't read much, but the blog may have been trying to sell something, so OH could have yanked it for advertising/spam/etc.

I read the article and it struck me as something thrown together to generate traffic to that site.  That's my guess.

6'3" tall, male.

Highest weight was 475. RNY on 08/21/12. Current weight: 198.
