Suggestions for how to sip water without uncontrollable burbling?
I posted on the general forum about how to get all the water in.
The real issue is that I am a teacher and when I sip water, I ALWAYS have UNCONTROLLABLE NOISY bubbles coming up (sometimes for 5-10 minutes) afterwards.
Being known as the teacher that burps is not acceptable.
I've tried sipping from a glass and a strawless water bottle but still have the burbling
Is there something that you've found that helps alleviate this? I need to get my water in and do so quietly.
Thank you

Different temperature water might help. My stomach didn't like cold water at first, so I stuck to room temperature or warm tea and it agreed much better with my stomach.
There's nothing wrong with using a straw, that might be worth a try too!

Ditto what Julie said, different temperatures might help. Maybe sip on some tea? Too bad you can't play music or something in the background to drown out the sound. My stomach still talks to me sometimes & I'm going on 3 years. lol

I recommend trying a straw!

I can only relay what is working for me. I have always used a straw to control rate and air intake. Even two years out if I Drink from a glass I have to be careful. The first sip or draw from the straw needs to have the air purged through your nose. Try it a few times and see what I am referring to. If you continue to drink sip after sip without removing the straw it keeps the air purged. If you pause and pick it up again just start the process again . Your stomach may continue to make noise but you sounded like you are actually burping, and that is trapped air. Hope it helps.
