Not stress eating
My husband of 29 years passed away on Saturday morning. He had been ill for a long time, but I wasn't expecting it to happen this soon. I have no doubt that he is with God now, so I find a lot of comfort there. Anytime in the past when I was under a lot of stress or grief my food plan would go out the window. Thanks to my vsg surgery I find no comfort in overeating, and wouldn't be able to pig out even if I wanted to. My sleeve is like a safety net for me and I'm glad I had it. My husband got to see me thin and finally happy about my weight. He said he admired me for having the determination to go through whatever it took to get what I wanted, and wouldn't let fear stop me. He was the kindest most supportive person I've ever known.

So sorry for the loss of your husband. My thoughts and prayers are with you. So cool that he saw you succeed with your weight loss. No doubt he is looking down on you and with you every second of the day. Peace, love and hugs.
I'm so sorry. Take care of yourself.
