You look fantastic!!!! I am so proud of you and you are truly an inspiration. I am two weeks post op and have lost about 7 pounds. Should I be losing more? I am excited because I am no longer taking Metformin.
I am nervous that I am not getting in an adequate amount of protein, any suggestions?

Hi Dawn-
Hang in there. There is no specific amount that you "should" be losing. Some people lose faster than others but consistency is the key. You are still swollen and healing from the surgery, so the weight loss is slower. Just work on getting all healed up and stick to your eating plan and the weight will come off.
As for protein; in the beginning I drank a lot of protein shakes, ate Light N Fit Greek Yogurt, and focused on getting in water. I didn't always meet my protein goals in the beginning but I sure tried! It will get easier, I promise!!
