How long for the stages
It depends on the surgeon's program. I never had an all liquid phase. I was on puréed foods for essentially 8 weeks with things like scrambled eggs added for the last half of that period. Then I started on solids very slowly, one type at a time. I didn't have stea****il 3 months.

I had two weeks of full liquids, two weeks of purees, and two weeks of soft solids. Then I went to my "forever diet."
10 days of liquids only pre-op - five protein shakes a day.

My plan calls for 2 weeks of liquid only( mostly shakes)then 2 weeks of soft food like yogurt, cottage cheese, tuna..and then slowly introducing more solid food a little at a time focusing on lean dense protein first and eventually adding in veggies and fruits. and always no BRPPS ( bread, rice, potatoes, pasta or sugar).
