Whatcha eating today? Saturday, 12/3/2016
It's a running day for me because tomorrow is my voice recital (Eeeek!) and I've learned the hard way (many times) that running and singing do NOT mix. So running today it is. This is also the day for my longest run in a really, really long time. 8.8 miles. Yikes. And it's cold. Whine, whine, whine. But I get to see a movie later and that'll be lovely. And I got to have a great chat with my favorite English teacher (upon whom I have a wee crush) last night after a poetry reading thing and that was also lovely.
1: protein shake
2: pork stew from last night which was AMAZING
3: maple balsamic tempeh bowls - first time cooking with tempeh for me!
liquid and vites: will be on track, doing my pre-run hydration now
exercise: running 8.8 miles OMG and yoga stretching then dying
How about you? :D

Gwen, You are amazing. With all your studies and all your other activities, and you have time for singing as well.
I'm going to check on the pork stew recipe. Sounds good.
Breakfast - salmon
Lunch - egg roll bowl
dinner - chicken with apricots and Kalamata olives - yum

In the pork stew, did you use the fish oil and sunny paris seasoning? I don't have either and I hesitate to buy more ingredients if I may not use them often. Just curious if you substituted other things.
thanks,
Carol

I used the fish sauce, not that specific brand, but the stuff I can get at my local grocery store. I use it in a lot of asian recipes, so it's a good thing to have around. That said, I'm sure it wouldn't change the flavor drastically if you omitted it!
For the Sunny Paris.. I don't have that spice blend, so I used Sunny Spain instead which is like lemon pepper seasoning without salt. You could use any spice blend here. Italian herb blend comes to mind, but others would work too :)
