Whatcha Eatin' Today? Thursday, 1DEC16
I got in my shipment from Vitacost yesterday. They have the Optimum Nutrition White Chocolate Protein, which is darn hard to find! So now I can add that to my white mochas in the morning and have FANTABULOUS protein coffee. I also think I may have cracked my little plateau today. I'm gonna do extra cardio and lower cals for the next few days to cinch it!
AM Coffee + white chocolate protein!!!!
L: Chicken Cilantro Wonton Soup
D: L&of Greek Yogurt x 2, Chocolate Mint Protein Bar
Water & Vites
Ah, you beat me! Clearly I should have posted before heading out for my run this morning :)
So it's December, yay rah. I've got a stupidly busy day today, but everything should be okay. My last anatomy lab final is this evening, but I'm not super stressed about it because I've already got an A for the course and my prof drops the lowest exam score which means I don't actually need to take this last exam. w00t.
1: protein shake
2: leftover asian slaw - I forget what it actually is since I made it a while ago
3: protein bar since I'll need to eat while out of the house (I'll be out from 2:45-10pm so.. bar it is. I'm glad next term won't have any evening classes!)
liquid and vites: on track
exercise: running and I'm about to do my yoga stretching

That coffee sounds delish!!!! Yay for breaking the plateau! I wish I had time to exercise. Today is a 11.5 hour work day. By the time I get home (its wash the hair night), I'm exhausted. boo. Gained a lb again, sigh
B made 1 egg with 2tbsp cottage cheese, 2 sausage links, cheese, veggies - ate half of it.
L 1/2 can of tuna salad on 2 lettuce leafs, maybe cottage cheese w/ berries for extra
S shake because ill eat dinner late and need more protein
D 1/2 slice of lemon chicken, veggie puree soup.
S cheese stick if needed.
liquids on track.
Exercise doesn't exist. I saw I got charged for the gym again. *sigh*
Do you work those long shifts every day? I think you're definitely making the right call for prioritizing sleep over exercise - your body needs it!

B: Premier Protein (trying the Bananas and Cream today)
L: My version of Pintos n' Cheese (2.5oz refried beans, a little enchilada sauce, a little shredded cheddar)
D: Some sort of Chili (I have options)
S: Cottage Cheese
V: forgot to take the b12 this morning
Need to work on liquids, think I was dehydrated yesterday.
Doc's appt tomorrow -- hope I get to add some meat.
Optimum Nutrition has the best protein powders, but some of them are damned hard to lay hands on.
It's finally turning cold here in Dallas. I want a week of freezing temperatures. We had a mild winter last year, and the bugs just won't die!
Morning - Premier Protein and a latte
Lunch - probably a salad with some protein
Dinner - broiled pork chop and ice cream
exercise and vites - done
I can't believe its December already. 2016 has had its challenges. Here's hoping 2017 will be better.
But on the bright side, the diet is going well.
Breakfast - salmon
Lunch - last piece of my cheeseburger pie - I love that dish. Its a bit high in carbs, but worth it.
Dinner - chicken with apricots and Kalamata olives - this is one of my favorites. yum
snack - I try to skip the snacks, but lately, I had a 1/4 cup of almonds. Its about 200 calories, and it doesn't blow the diet. Almonds aren't my favorite nut, but if it were cashews, I'd never stop a 1/4 cup. Such is life these days! oh well.
best wishes,
Carol
