Whatcha eating today? Monday, 11/21/2016
Aw, I'm so sorry. Talking with him is definitely a good plan - the best plan, in fact! But I totally hear you. When I'm not communicating with my partners my brain always goes to the worst case scenarios. Hang in there in the meantime.

The other night, as I weighed in a little higher than the day before AGAIN, I ran my calories on MFP, and found I was eating a little too much - maybe 100 calories per day too much. So I decided to either cut back from 4 to three meals per day, cut out the glass of wine in the evening, and/or exercise more.
So I'm trying the three meals per day plus a little more walking. I should be able to cut about 300 calories per day, and go from a slow gain to a slow loss of weight.
My mood has not been great, so it hard to follow the regimen. But I'm trying.
I'm still 5 pounds over goal. This is not where I want to be.
Hope you are all doing well.
Carol

I went to the supermarket on my way home from Food Share this afternoon. I picked up some items I need for Thursday, and also picked up some cranberries and two bags of popcorn to string for the x-mas tree.. but Maura says Taylor is too young to do that. I had left the popcorn in my car so it wouldn't tempt me.......but now that I know we won't be stringing it, it's calling my name. I almost brought it in earlier, but I am holding my ground and leaving it outside. I'll bring it to Food Share tomorrow and donate it.

Had my first thanksgiving dinner of the week yesterday. Went pretty well! Stuck to the turkey, with a small spoonful of homemade applesauce, green beans and two pieces of sweet potatoes. I'm kinda proud of myself for not having any of the breads sitting out. Thursday will be a much bigger challenge since its the one with the most food.
B: 1/2 cup plain greek yogurt
S: 3 slices of thin deli ham with whipped cream cheese
L: 2 ounces of left over Turkey with a slice of think cheddar cheese
S: pork rinds
D: Taco Casserole
S; protein shake if needed
Water: Lacking
Vits: Done
Exercise: 28 mins on the elliptical with the weight loss setting
