Day one post op
Have my gastric sleeve yesterday! Resting in the hospital right now, will be doing the barium test within an hour. My new stomach is rumbling with hunger, so I'll be glad for a little something to drink after the barium test.

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son, that whosever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16
Drink, drink, drink. Best thing you can do.
The rumbling is gas. They blow you up like a baloon while they're working under the hood. Walking is the only thing you can really do to get rid of it.
Things may feel awful at first. But every day gets a little better.

Anything you think your stomach is telling you right now is a lie. The "rumbling" is likely gas and if you're feeling hunger it's likely acid.
Sip and walk as much as possible - happy healing!
