i think I'm going to try to make faux Chinese fried rice today... Wish me luck.
b - bar, pumpkin spice coffee
l - chicken fried rice or tilapia with a salad
d- chicken fried rice or chili
S - bar, turkey jerky, protein pudding
exercise - rest day
water - not enough yesterday, need to push fluids today
vits - on schedule
It's been a while since I've eaten right, and I've forgotten the changes in my body odors. I just realized last night, in the middle of the night when I got up to go to the bathroom, that I'm in ketosis. I totally forgot about that. And my taste buds are a little funky too.
AM: coffee with 120g 1% milk & ON Chocolate Mint whey Protein
B: 1/2 TJ's Pasadena Chicken Salad
L: Chicken cordon bleu leftover pizza (yum)
D: 1/2 TJ's Pasadena Chicken Salad
S: Dannon L&F Greek Yogurt
48oz H2O, which seems about all I'm able to get on an average day. I gotta find a way to up it. May start using hot herbal Teavana.
All vits in today
B- protein bar
L- Chinese chicken with broccoli and carrots
D- balsamic chicken with protein blend veggies
S- crackers with peanut butter
Exercise- danced with my kids for 30 min
Water- always trying for more! 40oz so far. gonna push for 60oz

Barely 2 weeks out from surgery, but this is my menu for the day:
B Chocolate protein shake
L 2-3 oz cottage cheese
S Chocolate protein shake
D 2 oz mashed potato w/2 tbsp Greek yogurt
S 1/2 cup SF Jello
Fluids - Crystal Light, the protein shakes, jello, and beef broth
Exercise - recumbent bike 5 mins x 2 (never could do it before..yay!)
Vits - on schedule
You might want to look into getting unflavored protein. You can add half a scoop into your potatoes or cottage cheese.
My 2 fav recipes for mushy is : fat free refried beans topped with taco sauce and shredded cheese, and faux banana ice cream with one scoop of banana creme protein. (Look it up on Pinterest, tons of recipes).
Thanks, actually I do use unflavored protein, and I make my own shakes with it. I prefer the shakes versus mixing it into my other food for now, as they help me meet my fluid quotas. As for the other suggestions, although they sound tasty, my program does not allow cheese until Phase 3, no bananas until Phase 4, and no beans until Phase 5.
I do look forward to trying those things when I can eat them tho! I also have a variety of soups I am eating as well as scrambled eggs. cream of wheat, and SF pudding :)
I love the 'faux fried rice." It is so tasty and healthy.
I'm spending the day with my niece who has a lovely home near the ocean. So we are enjoying the beach and the sunset.
Breakfast - skipped
Lunch - veggie and meat ball soup at my nieces place
snack - cheese
dinner - chicken and sweet potato casserole
Its so nice to share a day with family.
