What cha eating today, VSGers? - Saturday
Made this copycat recipe for mushroom chicken for the week - and then promptly had chipotle after. Oh, silly brain, why?!
Meal #1: keto chipotle bowl 1/2
Meal #2: other 1/2 bowl
Meal #3: 4 oz shrimp, 2 tbsp rice (I tasted rice while out with a pal, ugh, didn't finish. Just sat very poorly in my stomach.)
Meal #4: Probably the chicken so I can pretend to minimally be an adult.
I follow a ketogenic diet post-op. I also have a diagnosis of binge eating disorder. Feel free to ask me about either!
It is not that we have so little time but that we lose so much...the life we receive is not short but we make it so; we are not ill provided but use what we have wastefully. -- Seneca, On the Shortness of Life
Crack slaw is one of my go-to favorites for weight loss. Its a ground beef dish with cabbage, seasoned with hot sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and soy sauce and vinegar. Its called crack slaw because it is addictive! and its really healthy.

There are so many healthy and tasty things we can cook to divert us from all that junk food that isn't healthy. It takes effort, but it is so worth it. I cook so much more now than I ever did when I was obese.
Best wishes,
Carol
