What cha eating today, VSGers? - Friday
LOL, I should have. I actually wound up not going to that main place because I was almost having one of those 'attacks' I have been getting and trying to find out what is wrong. Its like a gallbladder attack because of stones but, I don't have that anymore! The doc thinks its 1. still a stone trying to pass that's stuck, or 2. my insides are getting twisted. I assume it isn't #2 because if it was, why would he not have me doing tests ASAP? I got bloodwork done Sat AM so hopefully that will show whats up.

I'm really struggling with my eating schedule. I leave for work a little before 7 which I've decided is too early to eat. I don't really feel like eating then, but I have an hour drive to work and I can't really eat once I get to work, so I tend to eat while I'm driving, which ends up being crackers and cheese. I think I get too many calories, too many carbs and not enough protein. Then, I eat lunch around 11:30 but then I feel like eating again by 3 or so. And then I make bad choices and eat things I shouldn't on my hour drive home. I really need to do a better job.
B: cheese and crackers
L: chicken wings
D: I don't know yet
Trying to refrain from snacking. I do so much better when I eat right because the cravings and snacking feelings go away.
Thanks for listening!

Yummy ... your meals sound so good. I am on full liquids until Monday. My menu is Unjury chicken soup, Oikos Zero, light lemonade, water, and protein shakes. Yikes!
I'm probably one of the worst on regain- got up as high as 241 from my low of 145. I've lost 12 pounds since getting back on plan on 15OCT(@ approx. 234). Weighing, eliminating carbs, and increasing protein. It's hard to remember what I used to eat that was high in protein and low in carbs...

Got my labs back today and Im really low on iron even with the iron supplement i take. I may need to start adding in some red meat to help. Glucose was 88 for me and that was after eating most of the day and having a snack before I went for the blood draw since i didnt have to fast for it. Beginning to think my lightheadedness could be a combo of the two. I did not have diabetes before surgery although i was getting close. My fasting glucose for my pre-op lab work was 106.

S: 3 slices hard salami with Sargento ultra thin cheddar cheese

Exercise: walked on my lunch break, No exercise tonight since I'm Uber driving to make some extra Christmas money
I was getting light-headed A LOT, and finally talked to my cardiologist who said I had low blood pressure and he suggested I eat more salt. This made me happy! and It helped. I probably struggled with the dizziness for 6 to 9 months. But it finally passed and I don't have any problems with in anymore.
I hope yours passes as well.
