What cha eating today, VSGers? - Friday
Hi everyone,
I'm up early, so I thought I'd get this started.
I did better with my eating yesterday, and I am hopeful I can get back down to goal weight again.
I made the chicken with sun-dried tomatoes yesterday, and I'll assemble the buffalo chicken spaghetti squash and the chicken salad today.
breakfast - salmon
lunch - chicken with sun-dried tomatoes
snack - finish off the crack slaw
dinner - chicken salad with peanut sauce over spiralized cucumber - yum
I send my best wishes to all of you. Keep the faith. We can do this.
Carol

The spaghetti squash is a great food. It's like a pasta without the calories or carbs. Its a different texture than pasta, but its enjoyable.

Thank you for the kind words. It's a whole lot hard to re lose the weight than it was to lose it the first time lol
I watch the Dr A videos that he posts on here... I think after I tackle the regain, I will start trying for a normal BMI of 25. That's what he uses to determine what goal weight should be.
Im at a BMI of 29 now. I use my Wii to weigh and it tells me the bmi lol
Boy, I agree with you. Sometimes when losing 3 pounds feels so daunting, its hard to believe I lost 225 not that long ago! I get really tired of feeling deprived. Evenings are the worst - I end up having a glass or wine, and/or a snack, and I blow the calorie intake for the whole day.
But this has been a stressful week. So I'm trying to give myself a little slack.
I think the important thing is not to give up. We are in this for the long run.
best wishes,
Carol

happy Friday! From 222 (regain of 42lbs - boo, I am down to 218 this morning. Gotta keep this losing happening) Today is only a 10 hour work day then it's date night!
B shake in coffee
L tuna salad on lettuce, hard boiled egg
S cheese stick
D; its date night, so we are going for Mexican. My favorite! This may be difficult.
V&W on track.
So glad you are down 4 pounds. You are on your way!
When I get Mexican food, I order the fajitas without the tortillas, and eat the meat and veggies with a fork. Then I take half of it home for another meal. Its tasty and still on plan.
You can make this work.
