VSG on 05/11/06

I survived the surgery and I am now back home. Unfortunately I am finding that I'm a bit of a wimp and have a low pain threshold. Swallowing hurts, getting up too quickly hurts, and I feel pretty weak.

I am definitely looking forward to continuing to lose, as for the first time in ages I'm under 300. :)

Congrats!! Hang in there. It will get better. My first week was like.....really, I chose to do this? But, in a few days you will be amazed how good you feel!!!

Congratulations!!!! It will get easier. I promise!!! :) I know the feeling OHHH SOOO WELL! I am under 300 lbs for the first time in over 10 years! Such an amazing feeling! I am with you 100%!

Happy you are on your way but sorry to hear you are in pain. You are not a wimp. We all experience pain differently. Hang in there, before you know it this will all be behind you.
