Ready made protein shakes other then premier
hello lovely people!
I am currently using the premier shakes . I'm fine with them but where I live Costco only sells chocolate ( I'm in Canada too so can't get lots of flavours) I like the ready made for simplicity and a few other reasons I won't go into at the moment. I do use an unflavored GNC powder to add to other foods. Does anyone use a ready made shake ( not premier) but comparable to premier.
Suggestions greatly appreciated!
Most of them taste like a glass of gritty mud. Premier was like that at first, but have figured out how to make a shake with the consistency of chocolate milk. If you try other shakes, I would suggest buying one at a time to see if you can stand to drink it.

GNC Total Lean is not too bad. I think it's 25 g protein and 170 calories. My GNC always carries Vanilla, Chocolate and Strawberry and sometimes has other seasonal flavors. When I'm having a shake I too prefer the ready made for simplicity. I usually use them if I am on the go and it's just easier not to have to worry about making the shake or spilling something I made at home.

Pure Protein makes some RTD drinks as well, IIRC in 20g and 35g formulations. We tried them when my wife went through this years ago (before Premier existed) and they were OK for what they were, but found that powders were more easily manipulated to alter their flavor as needed and could still be mixed up and packaged for on the go use as needed.

I can't stand the milky ones, so I ended up getting Isopure pre-mixed bottles in fruit punch flavor. Has the consistency of Kool-Aid!

I like Muscle Milk 32. It comes in chocolate, vanilla, and banana. It has 32gm protein and only 12 Carbs. Those are pretty much the only carbs I get each day.

Does the banana taste really artificial? I've never tried a banana shake and since I hate the chocolate and vanilla I might have to give it a shot.

I have only had it in my coffee so I couldn't tell. My daughter had her VSG last month. She hates chocolate anything. She does like the banana shake.

Oh Yeah makes some in Vanilla, Chocolate, Banana, Strawberry, Cookies & Cream... I think that's it. Plastic bottle... I get them from time to time at my Albertson's supermarket or 7-11. They are pricey so it's rare but the Vanilla one was tasty.
I have an Iconic ready to drink protein shake in the fridge right now chilling will come back and let you know... never tried it before.
