Whatcha eating today? Wednesday, 11/2/2016
I'm hoping that today will be a better day than yesterday! Things that currently make me cry - anything good happening. After anatomy yesterday a classmate asked me (me!) if I'd be willing to come to a study session to help a few of them out with an assignment. How did I become someone who gets asked for help in anatomy? I ended last term thinking that I just wasn't cut out for this subject and here I am now. So I cried since I can't tell my dad about that. :P
1: protein shake
2: I've got an early voting date with Art! We're going to Silver Diner for lunch and then we'll vote. Yay! I've got a few ideas of what to order, but haven't decided yet. I'll do a menu post.
3: egg roll in a bowl
liquid and vites: on track
exercise: pilates class
How about you? What are YOUR voting plans? (Not asking who you're voting for, but when/where you'll be voting.)

Good morning all,
Gwen, I made a egg roll bowl from my skinnytaste cookbook last week and it was excellent. I bet you'll enjoy this dish.
My weight is slowly creeping up, even though I am eating healthy and low carb. I'm going to have to check my portion control. I weigh dense proteins, but I eye-ball casseroles and I've been eating a lot of casseroles lately.
breakfast - salmon
lunch - with friends - I'm bringing my cauliflower "fried rice" dish
dinner - a fund-raiser for a group helping youth in a poor community nearby (Lowell, MA)
It won't be a good day for dieting, and we are planning a nice dinner for my birthday tomorrow. So its not looking good for the diet this week.
Have a good week, everyone
Carol

My recipe came out of the Skinnytaste Fast and Slow Cookbook and has cabbage and bok choy and ****ake mushrooms and grated carrots. So its quite different from the crack slaw.
I searched, but couldn't find the recipe on line. But the cookbook is worth the price.
