Whatcha eating today? Monday, 10/31/2016
Holy crap! I stepped on the scale this morning and saw 170. Considering I feel like I self-medicated my woes with food yesterday, that was surprising. One more pound to go and I'll have lost 150 pounds from my highest weight. :D
1: protein shake (I've been having some stomach distress, so I'm reducing the things I put in my shake to try to figure out just which ingredient is making my bowels rebel.)
2: quest bar (Not the lunch I'd prefer, but it's a day I need to eat between commitments.)
3: slow-roasted beef tenderloin, horseradish cream sauce, skillet roasted brussels sprouts with garlic parmesan cream sauce, roasted potatoes (This is a VERY belated birthday dinner for my partner before he heads off to CA for eleven days.)
liquid and vites: on track
exercise: not today, I should do yoga for my back since it could use it after being all sedentary yesterday, but I'm not feeling it.
How about you? What's up on this Monday?

Your roast beef with horseradish cream sauce sounds yummy. I'm cooking two new recipes today. One is an "eggroll" casserole without the wraps. bok choy and green cabbage and pork. I'm hoping it will remind me of the insides of egg rolls. The other is a taco salad over spaghetti squash. I made this once before and its yummy.
Breakfast - my old standard, salmon
lunch - finishing off my cheeseburger pie - I really enjoy this.
Dinner - one of the new dishes, if I get to them.
snack - nuts or some left-overs
Have a wonderful week, everyone!

Oatmeal is carb heavy and carbs aren't a huge part of the post-VSG diet for most people. You need to use your limited stomach space to maximize proteins.

I'm still feeling queasy today. Just gonna send out my older kids to take the younger ones trick or treating while I park my butt in a chair to pass out candy.
If you're only getting 30 ounces of liquid, I'm not surprised that you're feeling queasy! Can you increase your liquid intake? Dehydration is no joke!

Im trying to drink more but I have instant cramps and diarrhea. Im trying to let my stomache settle and drink mostly broths so I think that counts towards my fluid intake. Im hoping it's just a virus and it will pass soon.
