Anyone else scheduled for 11-16-16?

Hi everyone!
This is my first post on this forum. My VSG is scheduled for 11-16-16 and I am trying to find others scheduled the same day or near that date. I just signed up on this site last night so I am still navigating the site and such.
Thanks! :)

Thank you so much Kathy! I actually added my surgery date yesterday but it isn't on the list yet.
I will keep checking the list. Thank you so much

That is awesome! :) I went to my pre-op today and mine is later in the day.. booo lol. I go in at 9:50a for 11:50a surgery.
They said they will call me the day before to confirm it though as the time could change.
I had a pre-op with the nurse practitioner yesterday and then with the surgeon on the 1st. I have to be at the hospital by 5:30am. :-( That's going to be an early morning as I live about 40 minutes away...

I understand! I live an hour and 30 mins away from the hospital I am having mine at. I guess in a way I am glad mine isn't super early so I don't have to be up at 4am or something silly but at the same time I know I won't sleep and its going to give me more time to worry and have anxiety about it lol.
Maybe I'm just weird, but I have zero anxiety over the surgery right now...maybe it'll change. I've had several surgeries including a breast reduction and having my gallbladder removed, so I know exactly what to expect. Is this your first surgery? If one can have a favorite part, I enjoy the part where they've started the medicine that knocks you out and the room starts spinning...it's such a strange feeling. I engage my brain and try to remember as much as I can. Yah, I'm weird...lol

I have had several surgeries but mainly 3 c sections. I had anesthesia awareness with our second child and it was an awful experience however I don't think I will have that issue this time.
