Just scheduled my surgery ...

I'm a little unnerved, having just signed all the "You could die" paperwork.

My choices were Nov, 17th, a week before Thanksgiving, or Nov 30th, 25 days before Christmas Eve, so I chose Nov 17th, hoping it is a good omen it being my departed Mom's birthday.

Not sure about telling my Aunt, who is 90, and hosts Thanksgiving dinner. She is a quite critical woman. It could go either way; Tons of support, or tons of criticism. At any rate, she will probably notice when I go to Thanksgiving, a week out from surgery, and drink my dinner.  Mmmm homemade gravy for dinner .. jk
