Insurance (Modesto,Ca) HealthPlan Of San Joaquin

If anyone has this insurance, how long does it generally take to get approved? I've been waiting all this month :/ The waiting is killing me and making me so anxious. I'm so ready to get a surgery date and it feels like it's never gonna happen :( Anyone in the area.....................???

Call then and ask. My insurance approved me in 5 days but I didn't get the letter until 2 weeks later.

I'd suggest giving the insurance company a call and verifying that they received the paperwork, and asking them how long they usually take for approvals.  For BCBS in Mass, they usually approve them in a few days.  But it can take weeks to send the letter informing you of the approval.

In my case, I didn't receive the approval letter until a week after my surgery was done!
