Sleeved 10/12/2016
My procedures was the last of the day-2ish (probably closer to 3). Got to my room by 8:30pm so first day was sort of a blur. Second morning had swallow test. Contrast taste like ugh but no leaks. Had a little nausea in afternoon, but nurse gave me some Zofran and never had a problem after that. Walked around some, slept slot, ate chicken broth , hello, tea, and had water all with no problem. Friday morning I had my first protein shake with no probes. I've out, dressed and discharged by 9:30am. 6 hour drive was a bit uncomfortable, but tools breaks to stretch. Sleeping last night was trial and error, but finally it figured out -the best way to roll and position of legs for limited discomfort. This morning had 4 oz protein shake and water with no issues. No hunger either. Did dishes and walked some, now taking a little break for a bit. I have nothing but praise with Dr. Sajani Shah and her team at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. The nurses and CATs on North 4 were amazing. Always helpful, caring, friendly. I would recommend Tufts highly. Thank you all for your support. This site has the best members.
