Whatcha eating today? Saturday 10/15/2016
Today is race day! It was a good race for me and I'm happy! My time was about the same as my last 5k which means I managed to maintain without a lot of training. I'm super proud of that! This was also a good race mentally - I KNEW I could do it and I even found myself thinking, "you know, you can run faster." Running is such a mental game for me, and I feel like I'm starting to win a little bit.

exercise: 5k race, 30 minutes post run yoga stretching

Good job on your 5 k! I've always wanted to do one. Right now I just work on sporadically walking 3 miles. The only exercise I like is hiking in the woods and swimming.

L. 1/2 premier protein with 1 cup spinach, 1/2 bananna, and 1/3 cup strawberries blended together.
D 6 ounces shrimp, 1/2 an avocado, (divided over 4 hrs)
S 1/2 ounce almonds
S peanut butter 1 tbsp
W 100 ounces
E driving to a state park and planning on hiking through the woods for 2 hrs or longer( I would hike longer but I have to bribe the kiddies. The little boys like playing in the dirt with the bugs. My preteen daughter gripes the whole time. She doesn't like to be anywhere there is no internet connection.)
