Whatcha eating today? Friday, 10/7/2016
I'm spending most of my day in a college library since tonight I get to go up to PA to visit my mom for the weekend! My partner works at this college, which is about 1/3 of the way to my mom's, so it made more sense for me to come to work with him and hang out in the library than for him to drive home and then drive back north after he got home. It's a nice library, so bonus!
1: protein shake
2: not many options on campus, so we're doing Einstein Bros. - I'll be getting a nova lox bagel and eating everything except the bagel. Yum.
3: I hear there are cupcakes in my partner's office since his birthday is this weekend.
4: wawa chicken caesar wrap on the drive north - my favorite road food, I'll eat 1/2-2/3 of it before deciding I'm full.
liquid and vites: on track
exercise: another rest day since being here prevented me from doing my fitness classes
How about you?

My weight is still hanging about 4 pounds over my preferred weight. I can't seem to give it that extra push to start losing. I'm just tired of feeling hungry so much of the time! But that's the only way I can maintain.
sigh!
But on the bright side, I bought two new cookbooks yesterday, one paleo and one low-carb. They both have great-sounding recipes, and I'm going to try some today. I'm having trouble making my shopping list because I keep changing my mind on what to make first. If I like the recipes as much as I think I will, I'll post the names of the books.
Breakfast - salmon
Lunch - cheeseburger pie
Lunch2 - chicken and broccoli
Dinner - philly cheese steak sloppy joes.
exercise - not so much, though I did walk a lot while shopping with my daughter yesterday
water and vitamins - good
Happy weekend, everyone!

I haven't done this in a while, but during the first year post-op, when I started to get hungry a lot, I'd take a PPI for 2 weeks and that would fix things. So it seemed like the hunger was due to acid. I think it's easier for me to ignore hunger now but some of that might be due to the Vyvanse. I feel hunger, but I don't care about it.
Anyway.. my point is that maybe taking a "course" of a PPI might help with the hunger?
What cookbooks did you get? I LOVE cookbooks. I never need an excuse to buy more for my collection :D Although these days, for space reasons, I tend to opt for Kindle versions. I only buy print cookbooks for the really awesome sounding ones.
