My surgery was at 12::30 noon and when I woke up in recovery the nurse was in a panic because my blood pressure was 169/100, I was telling her in my mind to calm down..lol..The first two days were so rough for me with the walking and all. On today all of the nurses were hugging and complimenting me on a difference a day makes. All of our bodies are different and time all things heal. I'm so relieved that mine came today. So my surgeon came in to follow-up and to let me know that I can go home on today. Now the real works begins!..
Congratulations! You're now on the loser's bench, and it's a great place to be. This surgery has been changed my life in so many way, and I'm grateful everyday that I did this.
Let us know how you're getting along, so we can cheer you on as the weight comes off and the NSV's start piling up.

My first week was the hardest because I left the hospital without an acid blocker. I could barely swallow water until they realized at my first pre op appt that they hadn't given me a prescription for one. It felt like I was pouring water on a balloon in my stomach. As soon as I took my acid blocker it was soooo much better. Good luck, it's going to be great.
