Well today is the day...the first day of my new life
Aww I'm so happy to help! I've had no outright pain , just discomfort and walking definitely helps. The docs and staff are amazing, as is the very new-looking, modern, meticulously clean hospital. The hospital is very small. Getting ice chips was like an angel singing. I usually guzzle a litre of water every morning, so that sucked that I couldn't. Biotene mouth spray right after surgery was nice. The nurse said it was ok to use. Anywho, I'll post a pic of me waiting to go in. Surgery is 40 minutes then two hours in recovery. The anesthetist blasted music and we had some laughs. Then the post op nurse sang "I Feel Good" to me lol! Trust me, you will be fine. It was great meeting four other patients while waiting for the hotel shuttle to the hospital and sharing our thoughts.
Trust me, you will be fine!!
