Update - I met with the surgeon yesterday and everything is going according to plan. He told me that the day after you go home is typically your worst day and it was for me. Nausea crept up on me when trying to get all the liquid protein and water down in a bad way which was Wednesday. Fast forward to Thursday and it was like a fresh start. Between yesterday and today it is hard to believe I had surgery on Monday. When I first stand up I can feel a little pain in the abdomen and that is about it.
Glad to finally be on this journey. Have a great weekend everybody!
