Do mostly greens and just enough fruit to tolerate the greens which can be very bitter if you use them only. Watch your fruit as it's pure sugar. Also for liquid use green tea instead of water, helps with the taste. Using protein powder will help too Good luck and as long as this is just for a short time, add protein and you watch your fruit you should do well. Keep us posted!

Detoxing is a myth - your organs already do that for you. Drinking your calories is a suboptimal plan, since liquid calories will lead you to snack more as they won't fill you up.
Instead of juicing, try sticking to dense protein for a week. I believe you've said you eat fish? Do that for a week. Or tofu.

How did the juicing go?
When my husband was on chemotherapy and would not eat food, I made juice drinks for him for every meal.
He gained thirty pounds while on three months of chemo. Most people lose on chemo, but the juicing kept him from losing weight and helped him to gain.
