hit a plateau or stall...

100g protein... 1000 calories per dr a day
not really drinking much lately.
Coffee for the most part...skinny non fat no sugar
what can I do to start weight loss again?
Weight loss has been all over body, not just 1 area. Feeling discouraged still. Just not seeing results I thought I would.
Should I reset my pouch? And how
thanks
Great job on the protein! WOO HOO!
One thought is to ramp up the water to a minimum of 64oz ++. Also make sure you are getting at least 8 hours of sleep. It plays a big factor in all of this. The 3 lbs could be water fluctuations. I know I weigh the most in the morning before I exercise.
Now does your Dr. recommend eating 1000 calories a day? I am 9 months out and do not think I have ever been up to 1000 calories a day. I try to stay under 800 for weight loss. I would probably gain on that many calories. How many carbs are you eating per day? Are you weighing and tracking all foods??
Thank you for responding. I do weigh my foods. 4ozs of protein sometimes 5oz.
Its hard to manage that much protein. I feel as if all i do is eat protein. I think the calories is a bit high myself but they said 1000-1200... Isn't that a lot? That is about the time I stalled out.
I was told I don't need protein drinks anymore at about 7 weeks. I kind of miss them. I wonder if that would help me lose again??
i stay around 5 g sugar and carb wise, I was told 75g but I really try not to have any carbs.
Im no longer diabetic, which is HUGE!! I feel so much better. So I dont mean to come off as a whiner. I went from a men's 2x t shirt to a large. Pants went down from an 18 to a 16. I do see results, I just want more. I don't know how to achieve that.
You'll never reach goal eating 1000 to 1200 calories at this stage. I've seen it happen thousands of times. Advice like that from so-called professionals makes me sad and angry. It's just way, way too much food.
6'3" tall, male.
Highest weight was 475. RNY on 08/21/12. Current weight: 198.
M1 -24; M2 -21; M3 -19; M4 -21; M5 -13; M6 -21; M7 -10; M8 -16; M9 -10; M10 -8; M11 -6; M12 -5.
I dont eat anything processed. I gave that up back in May. I eat tuna, salads, chicken, eggs, occasionally cheese, Fish, and salman.
My husband went to alaska in july and brought me back 50 pounds of it, lol.
I do eat fast still though.I know when to stop, i do so way before the full feeling.
Will work on the water starting today. And cutting back the calories. I personally feel my calorie and protein intake is high by trying to do what nutrionalist and doctor said to do.
thanks
Give us an example of a daily meal plan. It seems clear that 1000 calories per day is too high for you to lose weight. Does "not really drinking much" refer to alcohol or water?

low fat greek yogurt or 1 scrambled egg for breakfast.. 10 am
tuna salad, on celery 2 pm
a handful of almonds for snack
chicken or fish, with either broccoli or a salad for dinner at 6
hummus and carrots or celery or green peppers around 8 snack
****asionaly i make home made salsa and have tostidos )
If i go to a restaraunt we share something, like a fajita, or i get wings ( kids meal has 5, i eat 3 and half of my grilled veggies )
NO ALCOHOL ...im referring to water. I drink coffee, occassionally with non fat creamer. no sugar..or black..but it is caffeine.
thanks
This definitely seems like a lot of food for three months out. Fat free creamer can have a lot of sugar - so be aware of that. "A handful of almonds" can also have a significant amount of calories.
I'd suggest switching your snacks to something higher in protein. Salad can also be a sneaky jerk because dressings are rarely healthy unless we make them ourselves. With all the non-protein things you're eating, I'm actually surprised that you have enough stomach space to be getting in 100g of protein a day. Are you using MyFitnessPal to track?
