Whatcha eating today? Sunday, 8/21/2016
Happy Sunday! Today I am at my lowest weight ever as an adult. (And I look forward to saying this with every subsequent pound I lose.)
1: protein shake
2: not quite sure - maybe tuna with teriyaki and cucumber stuff, maybe butter poached tilapia. Depends on what's in the fridge when I get there. (Apparently not butter poached tilapia, since my partner finished it for breakfast.) Chicken parm. That's what I had for lunch.
3: chef salad (lettuce, tomato, onion, cucumber, various deli meats, hardboiled egg, maybe bacon if I remember, cheese) - the challenge with salads like this is to make them small enough. "a little of everything" can add up really quickly into a meal I can't finish!
liquid and vitamins: on track
exercise: nothing formal planned
How about you?

I struggled for the past few weeks. Yay eating disorder and stress? Back to the psychiatrist this week - I was bad and delayed it. Also, back to counseling. Didn't have a relapse, just haven't been meeting my protein requirements and had too many carbs via fruit. Curse you, fruit!
B: Protein Shake (1 scoop syntrax, 28 ounces tea)
L: 1/2c plain fage (full fat) with 1 tsp unsweetened coconut flakes, 1 tsp chia seeds, and a squirt of Mio.
D: 4 ounce chicken thigh meat, 2 ounces broth.
Snacks: 1/2c plain fage yogurt, 1 ounce nuts.
I follow a ketogenic diet post-op. I also have a diagnosis of binge eating disorder. Feel free to ask me about either!
It is not that we have so little time but that we lose so much...the life we receive is not short but we make it so; we are not ill provided but use what we have wastefully. -- Seneca, On the Shortness of Life
I'm sorry you've had a stumbling block! I'm sure you'll get back on course. And curse you fruit indeed. Why does it have to taste so delicious?
Thankfully I live with people who aren't big fruit eaters - they'll do clementines and strawberries in season, but neither of those call to me. Pineapple is tempting, but I only buy it for them and they devour it so quickly that I wouldn't get any anyway ;)

5' 5" tall. VSG on August 4, 2015/ Starting weight 239.9/ Surgery weight 210.9/ Current weight 137.4/ Goal weight 140/ No longer overweight, now a NORMAL weight. Now that I'm at goal, it's time to move on to maintenance!!!!!!!!
Thanks! I have no idea how often I'll be back once school starts next week, but I'm hopeful to be able to be more in touch. The last year has kicked my butt in terms of lack of free time, but my fall course load is "only" three classes vs. previous five, and I won't be "daughtering" at the same time. So, in theory, life will be a bit more manageable.

Thanks! The scale was, of course, 178.1 today, but this is not unexpected when it was 177.9 yesterday. :D It would be totally awesome if I could make "just overweight" by my dad's service on Saturday, but that requires a bit over 3lb of loss and seems impossible without a stomach flu ;)
