I promise this is not a troll i had my surgery on july 30th. so what if I just only needed to lose 35 lbs? it was my decision and I was sick of losing weight and gaining weight all over again. it was MY decision and I took it. thats why I told you that my stomach wasnt that small my surgeon only took 70% of it not 80% or 90% like they usually do.
i dont know why my BMI is listed as that but I dont like your attitude you need to learn to respect other peoples concerns
I'm going to throw this out there, just in case you aren't a troll. Do you know what soda, any amount, does to your stomach?? I'm not sure of any of the others nutritionist did this, but it was the biggest eye opener of my whole process. She took a balloon and put the open end of it over an open soda bottle. She held the balloon on the bottle and shook it. The acid in the soda blew that balloon up to around 8 inches. Your stomach is much like a balloon. So what do you think that soda is going to do to your stomach? I guess I'm trying to understand the recklessness of your whole eating habits. I think I'd be re-evaluating whether the whole process was really worth it.
Stomachs are absolutely nothing like a balloon. Nothibg. Not even a little. And there are openings on each end. Make a hole in the other end of the balloon, and see how that demobsteation works.
That demonstration is one of the oldest and silliest scare tactics in existence.
I drink soda every day. I don't advocate it for anyone else. But it won't stretch anything.

I will keep this short, I hope. The comment that everyone is repeating to you is "protein first". Your reply is, " I always have protein for my first meal", as in the Isopure drink. I would like to suggest that what everyone is trying to say to you is at every meal you should start with dense, solid , meat( chicken, beef, fish and so on. Even if you puree or chop it, that should be the first thing in your stomach each meal. You should be weighing and measuring your food. At 3 weeks out 2oz. of real meat should be plenty. Eat that first( tiny bites and chew slowly) and then add a tiny bite of a veg. if you feel the need. We all want you to be successful so you lose and keep it off. Does not matter 35# or the number. The previous advise on severed nerves is very important , take the advise about not trusting what you feel when you eat right now. I am glad you are doing well and feel like you have not been given a strong base of support from your surgical team. This is a good place to get first hand advise from many who have already traveled this path. Read, read, and read some more! Good luck
