Tomorrow is the BIG day!!!
Well I am excited, nervous, happy, anxious, ready...etc...lol! Please send up prayers for me . My doctor has been suggesting bariatric surgery for 3 years now but I was not ready. It wasn't until a few months ago when the scales tipped over 300 that I started researching and looking into the various options available. I am confidant that I am making the right decision for myself and my family BUt still need all the encouragement that I can get!!!
Thanks in advance!!!

all the best!!!! I'm 9 weeks out as of today....down 32 pounds and feeling great.
You've made a great decision and will see the benefits before you know it.
Just remember to walk as much as possible and sip, sip sip......it will be a bit tough at first, but once you get started sipping, you'll see that it can be done.
I'm with the others....some pretty minor discomfort the first few days and then nothing at all.....
The most important thing that I've had to learn is that once my stomach says it's full.......that "I'll just take one more bite" is definitely not a good idea.......took me 3 times before I learned my lesson.....I was uncomfortable and not happy....took a while to pass, but once the feeling passed, I was fine.
Keep all of us posted on your progress so we can officially welcome you to the Loser's Bench. The support here is AMAZING!!
Good friends are like stars.
You don't always see them but you always know they're there.
Good Luck tomorrow! I had some major discomfort the first day but the RN's were right on top of it with medicine. I'm now 4 days out of surgery and down 6 pounds :) also the pain was exponentially less each day - so hang in there!
I can't believe I already have baggy pants from losing 12 pounds (pre-surgical diet plus 4 days post-op).
You will be amazed how food no longer governs your thoughts - I know I am.
Take it easy on yourself :)
