Surgery today!

I should (I say "should" because I'm having my surgery in the OR I work at, and it's extremely busy and we bump cases all the time) be rolling into my OR in four hours, 39 minutes, and 40 seconds. I'm anxious and excited. And HUNGRY! Oh so hungry. It's hard to describe the feeling, really. 

If anyone else having surgery today or this week has time to check this, how are you feeling? Best of luck to you all! See you on the other side!

Good luck!!!!  I'm sure it will go great!!  Haven't had my surgery yet.  Meeting with the surgeon on Friday.

Not sure what happened there

It such an exciting time. I calmed myself down before my surgery by praying for myself and my surgeon. Best of luck to you

Thanks everyone! It went really well! They pre-opped me much faster than I expected and whisked me to surgery, and it was over before I knew it. I had the best team ever (Because I picked them)! I had a lot of pain and nausea when i woke up, but meds helped and it subsided. Now just a little soreness. I've been walking, drinking, voiding, etc really well. Things are going better than I expected. 

I'm so happy and excited for the future. Thanks everyone for the lovely comments!
