WATER GAIN??
Hello everyone...
Maybe it's just me but ever since I started drinking 120oz. of water or more per day, I've noticed the scale has gone up 2 pounds. I haven't changed my diet at all only the water consumption and seen a gain. Is this normal? Has this happened to anyone else?

I don't think water should cause weight gain unless you are retaining it for some reason (more sodium than usual - weather more hot/humid than usual?). However, 120 oz is a lot of water - my doctor says minimum of 64 oz and though I usually get there, I would have a difficult time drinking a lot more.

Interesting, its just 120oz of water or other liquids? Like the other person said, any additional sodium? Maybe from diet changes? I wouldnt think drinking 120oz of water would cause a retention, but I'm also not a doctor or a vet. Keep us posted?
Its gone up (either initially or over a few days) by 2 pounds, but has it stopped?

I too thought 120oz. of water per day was a bit much. The only fluids I drink is usually just plain water. I did something different yesterday and drank the minimum 64-70oz. of water and the 2 pounds came back off. I might of had some retention because of the weather here. I live in good ol' sunny FLORIDA.

Same, what part?
Glad it came off!

I live in the Brandon/ Riverview area just right outside of Tampa. Where in FL do you reside? Yes! I am glad those 2 pounds came back off too. I work hard to keep dropping these excess pounds especially since I lose slowly.

Yea, I've been having a hard time lately and trying to figure out whats up. I think was too many calories. Sunday I decided to fast. Ate a tiny bite of a bagel my wife had at breakfast, then had a bite of chicken at dinner and I think some almonds. I dropped 2 pounds that day. I also worked outside in garage/driveway with my father in law building an entertainment console for our living room. Yesterday I ate normal and was the same weight this morning as yesterday *shrug* Always fun to figure it out :P
I live in Palm City, just north of West Palm, so basically due East across the state from you

Yes figuring out what our bodies like and don't like post op has been an experience. lol
We will just keep continuing to truck along and figure things out as we go. The weight will come off eventually. My husband had his VSG a month before me and he is doing FANTASTIC! He gives me hope. lol
Can't wait to see where I'll be a year from now. By the way...Love watching your update videos on YouTube as well. I like to follow everyone there. Looking forward to your next update.
