APPROVED - Is this really happening?

I started researching, and submitting to insurance in 2004 for WLS. 12 denials, 4 Insurance Appeals and countless diets, weight loss programs and supplements later. I've been approved. My VSG is scheduled for July 20th!!!!  It doesn't even feel real! As I start to prepare the nerves are setting in. I know that this tool is the right decision for me, I just have been turned down by Ins (different companies) so many times I wasn't really expecting a yes this time. I want to give a shout out to all of you who have posted so faithfully on this site as well as others. Reading your journeys and advice has been invaluable to me. I'm sure as I continue this journey it will continue to be. SOooo - Here's to the start of the New improved ME :)

Congratulations! My surgery is July 7th.  The approval was a real shock to me too, it all becomes so real now.  Let the journey begin!!
