How long did you have painful gas feelings?
10-11ish days if I remember that far back. By 2 weeks it was ok bc I was starting to go out of the house more. My gas pain was excruciating so I literally just couldn't do anything.
It will pass and be distant memory soon.

What helped me was sitting on the toilet raising my arms over my head and kind of moving my body back and forth. Yeah it feels and looks ridiculous, but it did help me feel better. Good luck.

I had really bad gas pains in the hospital and as much as I didn't believe everyone the more you walk the better you will be. A lot of my gas was trapped in my upper body so a lot of my gas left through burping. It can be embarrassing to burp or pass gas out in public but you will feel so much better. All my gas pains were gone by day 4.
Most of my gas pains were gone by day 3 or 4.
Are you walking? I really believe that is what helped me. I was up walking in the hospital an hour once I got to my room and then at least every 2 hours after that. I kept getting up to walk once I was at home. I had bought those Gas-X strips but only used them twice.
Good luck with your recovery!
