Excess skin and its challenges
Almost everyone dreams of losing the weight and then removing excess skin right? Well, not me... I wanted to lose the weight and show off my skin... I'm very proud of it! I never looked into having anything that was extra removed (and if I did I knew I'd lose another 20 lbs and that scares me, I don't want to look deadly.)
So..... A few months ago I started getting a skin infection that came and went on my excess skin in the right inner thigh area.... I'm not too happy with it, it really never goes away, I stay dry and apply talc powder after every shower.... I've done zit baths... I've taken antibiotics (Yep, I've gone to the doctor a few times)....... I'm done with having this thing drain, so what's left you ask?....
Surgery..... I'm not too thrilled about it. Anybody else have something similar going on? (I hope not, really it sucks to have this!)
I got massive painful infections that smelled soooo bad. Even with that though I couldn't get my insurance to pay for a panni removal. It was crazy. I had the infection under my fat rolls and excess skin rolls for a total of maybe 10 years. I haven't had one since my PS. Absolutely amazing.

I think due to my hormones, I developed eczema after losing a bunch. A friend's daughter also had eczema and my friend told me about a cream you can find at CVS called Cerave. Her daughter's dermatologist recommended it. It is the best stuff! It is expensive (around $20.00 for a tub) but it is so worth it. Perhaps this can help you? Good luck to you.
