THANK you to everyone for your 3 week stall support
STALL OVER.....can't tell all of you how much I've appreciated your advise and support over this stall. I wasn't sure what was happening or if I had done something wrong....but you alleviated my concerns. After not losing anything (actually gained a pound) for over a week, this morning I was down a hair over 3 pounds. AND tonight I was able to get into a pair of slacks that I couldn't button last week (yes, I followed one of the suggestions put forward on the other post).......and I could sit down in them and breathe too....LOL.
I was away for the weekend and was pleased that not only did I not have any particular urges to splurge, I was able to follow my eating plans with no difficulty.......I'm thrilled!
Bottom line, I was discussing this with my significant other last night over dinner (he's a physician) and he said to not be bothered about what the scale says as it is a poor barometer of weight loss....what really matters is body mass loss....the scale only shows an inaccurate number in that regard. Made me feel better...............along with the fact that my leftovers from last night's dinner will end up being 4 meals!!!
Have a great 4th everyone!!!
Good friends are like stars.
You don't always see them but you always know they're there.
I'm so pleased that you are seeing results already! You are doing great.
