Pre-Op Diet
I don't want to sound whinny, but I am going to start my pre-op diet on Monday. I am not looking forward to it. I have all the groceries I need, but I am recovering from a bad Upper Respiratory Infection and still feel week. The last thing I want to do is a regimented restrictive diet. I was hoping to have a couple "last meals" before this time, but have been too sick. I thought I would be in a better psychological position than this.
I get where you're coming from. I start my pre-op diet on Tuesday.
Three weeks ago, I came down with a nasty stomach flu that lasted from a Monday to Thursday. The next morning, I had an extremely difficult tooth extraction that knocked me on my butt for a week and a half. I feel like it was sort of a gip, honestly. However, I did manage to survive on protein shakes and broth, so I suppose I'll be a bit prepared.
P.S. I have to make my middle daughter's birthday cake on Thursday, and I don't get to eat a bit of it. :(
