Did anyone else feel this way?
Thank you for your suggestion! I appreciate it! I will check that out! Maybe I just haven't run into those profiles in my browsing. I appreciate your help and thanks again!
I'm 5'10" so I was definitely tall and heavy. I have had great success dropping the weight! I now comfortably wear a women's Large.
This was me this morning:
VSG: 06/24/15 // Age: 35 // Height: 5'10" // Lost so far: 190 lbs
HW: 348 (before 2 week pre-op diet) // SW: 326 // CW: 158
TT/Lipo & BL/BA: 07/21/17 with Dr. Reish (NYC) BL/BA Revision: 01/11/18 with Dr. Reish (NYC)
Unconventional Sleever & Low-Carb Lifer
Thank you so much! Wow you look awesome! Congratulations! I feel more confident that I will be able to have great results since I am now seeing more "tall" people who have had this procedure and are looking/feeling fabulous! Thanks again!
Thank you! Yes, you definitely will do great with the procedure!!
I find that being tall can be an advantage in the way weight is carried. It took a while for people to notice me gain and it also took a while for people to notice I was losing! I think I was down about 100 lbs until people told me I look different. Now, it's ALL I hear. LOL.

I thought it was just me! That happens with me too. 50lbs... Not enough for people to notice, but 60-100+, they'll notice. I guess because we are so tall, that's just a part of it. Thank you and yes let's keep in touch!
Hi! Yes! I was 334 at my consult and currently at 316. I'd love to just see 220 again, lol. Anything below that is a huge bonus! Surgery is August 2 and I can't wait! Definitely keep in touch and good luck with your surgery and recovery! I know you'll do great!
That is so nice of you! Thank you so muchmuch! I know it will be hard, but sooooo worth it! ???
Hello Secrets...and Welcome to OH.
I follow OH threads every day and I also watch tons of YouTube videos that fellow sleevers make so others can watch their journeys. There is one particular YouTube sleever that is 5'8 and she also started off in the 300's. Her name is Drea VSG. I absolutely love love watching her videos they are so inspiring to me. Check her out if you like. Good luck on your journey.
