Post-Op
Hello all! I had my surgery this morning at 7:30. I'm up in my room and I feel great! Very minimal pain and nausea. I was wondering if anyone had any remedies for dry mouth. The nurse gave me water with sponges for my mouth, but it just helps for a few minutes and my mouth is dry again.
Any advice would be helpful! I'm so happy to start my journey to weight loss!

Welcome to the losers bench!
When I was in the hospital I preferred water at room temperature to avoid any shock to my healing stomach. I would juts sip as much as I could and I did a lot of walking . The best advise I can give is to sip...sip...sip...and walk...walk...walk...
We got ice chips... but it felt like someone had painted my mouth with a glue stick! so... it took a few days before I felt less glue-sticky! LOL Just keep sucking!

I used a generic dry mouth spray. It was an amazing thing to have the first couple days.

Second this. I used mine for the first day some what. I was allowed ice chips after surgery so that helped, as well. Biotene was def great in between pieces.
And congrats on surgery!
