When does it stop???
ok so im experiencing alot of hair loss and like i said before its super scary and freaking me out! i read on here that pple experience it during their 3-6month....for the most part they say it only last a couple months maybe 2 or 3..does anyone know when all this hair loss stops?? i know some pple dont even experience hair loss but unfortunately im not one of those pple..i know there is nothing you can do to stop it...but i would like to know how long does this cycle last??
yes, This too shall pass.
I lost hair from 3 months to 7 months. at 6 months post op, I got a short hair cut, and I started using a body-building mousse when I blow-dried my hair to give it more body. I would have bought a wig if needed, but I managed with the mousse. By 9 months post-op, I had a healthy crop of short hairs sticking straight up all over my head. I was so happy to see them, that I didn't even mind that it made me look scruffy! By 1 year I was well on my way to looking normal again.
Hang in there. You'll be back to normal soon. And it will be so worth it when you are looking great and feeling better.

I have a lot of hair and mine is falling out in clumps so I wasn't worried until the clumps started getting bigger and bigger. I did have my thyroid checked and my levels were off. So that was contributing to my hair loss as well. It might be worth a phone call, just to make sure.

It's different for everyone. I started losing my hair at 4 months, and it didn't really stop until month 9.

Mine started at 3-1/2 and stopped around 9 months. My hair grew back completely, and is probably doing even better considering all the vitamins and supplements I now take.

Mine kept falling out, had my thyroid checked, that was ok. I finally just started using minoxidil 5% and it's stopped falling out. I'm eating right, taking my vitamins, plenty of biotin. It's possible it's menopausal related, too. I buy mine on ebay because it's cheaper. It's the men's formula, but Rogaine now has a ladies formal that's 5% minoxidil at Costco, 2 mousse bottles for like $50.
